Most environmental movements place human welfare at the centre of nature. We don't. Ecocentrism recognises the intrinsic value of all living systems — independent of human benefit.
We protect ecosystems because they deserve to exist, not because they serve us. This isn't a philosophical position — it's the operating principle behind everything we do in the field.
